Upstream fibre engineers are continuing to carry out splicing activities, trying to restore the cable.

Upstream fiber engineers are currently performing splicing activities on a fiber close to one of our important network routes to enhance capacity and stability. This work won't affect services, but there's a slight risk when engineers are near live traffic.

At 4am, our monitoring system detected a fiber breakage incident along a critical route in one of our data centers. This incident resulted in a brief disruption of network connectivity as we rerouted traffic to another healthy fiber.

Network connectivity remains stable, and we expect no further disruption, however, services should be considered 'at risk' due to the reduced redundancy. We will provide a further update once full resilience has been restored.
